Which do you want first, the good news or the bad news?

Okay, I will give you the good news first. The good news is that the bone scan came back clean. So to recap after all the tests the cancer is confined to the breasts.

Now for the bad news. They found more cancer in the right breast. Bottom line, I am going to have a double radical mastectomy (losing both breast).
They plan to start reconstruction at the time of surgery so I don' t have to be flat chested.

Surgery will be in the next week or two at the latest. As soon as we have a date we will let you know.
